IBN project in Nigeria: a strong partnership for high yields

IBN breathed life into the idea of an integrated agro-industry with Bendel Feed and Flour Mill Ltd. (BFFM). High quality wheat is processed into bread flour. Valuable by-products from the flour mill and other production plants are processed into animal feed in the feed mill. Ship discharging facilities and the company’s own silo station ensure that there is always a supply of the most important raw materials.

Production by BFFM:

Flour mill: 300 tonnes/day capacity for bread flour, bran and semolina,
with all processing and storage facilities.
Feed mill: 20 tonnes/hour capacity for animal feeds,
with all ancillary processing and storage facilities.
Maize mill: 50 tonnes/day capacity for grits, maize flour,
germs for vegetable oil and bran for animal feeds.
Silo station: 8 x 2,500 tonnes capacity, incl. treatment/drying facilities
and storage of locally produced grains.
Port silo station: 4 x 2,500 tonnes capacity incl. ship discharging facilities, grain handling machinery and warehouse facilities for both import and export services.
